Wooden Rocking Horse
My husband has been busy again! The wood-turning group that he belongs to makes a tree for the Festival of Trees every year. They all turn ornaments to hang on the tree and make it just beautiful. This year they asked my husband to make a little rocking horse to place beneath the tree. Isn't she beautiful?! She stands about 21 inches tall. I did the mane and tail. It is a very soft yarn. I love the way she turned out. I may be prejudiced but I think my husband does beautiful work! He asked me what I was going to name her. With my uber creative mind I responded "Horse". :0
Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by my blog to have a peak at our little creative world!

Shirley, this is beautiful!! You and your husband did a great job. I love how full the tail and mane are!! What a beautiful keepsake this will make for some lucky child.
ReplyDeleteThank you Michelle! I give all credit to my wonderful husband as he is so very talented when it comes to wood.
