Our Hero....F2TF
This young man's name is Tyler Smith. He has been battling a rare form of liver cancer for a year and Sunday succumbed to this horrible disease. See that smile? This is how he faced everything in life, with that beautiful smile. Even when he was horribly ill, he would come out of the bathroom with a smile on his face. Tyler was my son's friend. Heck, he was EVERYBODY'S friend! I am honored to have known him and his wonderful family. Their strength through all of this has been amazing. However, the way that Tyler has touched so many lives, young and old alike, will be his lasting legacy. He was an inspiration, role model and hero for SO MANY people, and will never be forgotten. So I take this opportunity to pay tribute to this very special child of God. His favorite color was bright green so I used that in this simple sympathy card I made for his family. It is a paltry offering for their broken hearts, but it is all I can give, along with my prayers. His motto was "Fight 2 the Finish". He did. Rest in paradise, Tyler Smith, until we meet again.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope you all will hug your loved ones a little closer tonight.

I'm so sorry for your and his family's loss. That is a beautiful card to honor him.
ReplyDeleteThank you Julieta.
Deleteso sorry he passed. I remember when you had talked about him on the forum.
ReplyDeleteA senior in our local school district also passed on Sunday from cancer. He went to the prom on Sat and passed on Sunday. So sad so many young are passing.
I like the embossing on your card, very nice.
Thank you Michelle. Yes,there are so very many children that are being stricken with cancer. For these little ones, their work is done here and Heavenly Father needs them to do his work in Heaven.
